PUERTA VALLARTA EVENTS - JUNE

The rainy season usually starts sometime in June and lasts until mid-October.

With the rainy season comes the Golfina sea turtle; and several conservation programs come to life, they collect the turtle eggs and assist the hatchlings in returning safely to the sea. Visitors, including children, can participate in "Turtle 2000", a joint effort of the Puerta Vallarta Hotel Association, and the local and federal government.
